Advanced/Intermediate Network Analysis

Instructor:  Steve Borgatti

Location: BE-248

This is a 3-day workshop for participants who already have some experience with network analysis, but would like to learn (a) much more about UCINET and NETDRAW (including powerful undocumented features, (b) understand familiar measures and concepts at a deeper level (e.g., what really is centrality?) and (c) tackle thorny analysis issues, such as missing data, working with large datasets, and translating research questions to analysis procedures. Additional topics will be solicited from participants.

It is important to note that this will be a very hands-on and interactive workshop, so it will not be based on slides. However, some slides will be made available to you as background material. Please do not expect me to go through those slides in class.
